I hope he never does that to anyone else going forward. Which was a great night but ended in flames by his torch. He got away with it probably because he's been there forever, just never when I was there until that nightmare of a night. No wonderful establishment should have his angry antics allowed. He owes his co workers an apology for they are angels n he's a anger managment student waiting to happen or just a ticking time bomb ready for a Clark County holding cell mugshot for such random scary threatening anger. At the bar he works at he wants to disturb the peace at the bar he bartends and doormans at.

In a nutshell: Austins oldest gay bar featuring go-go boys, drag shows, sport on 11 televisions, college nights and wet. I can see if a patron wants to pick a fight with a staff hypotheically speaking, but to just overreact and go off in a second on a rampage is just scary and disturbing the peace frankly. I love this bar so much but that man ruined me every feeling comfortable to step foot in there ever again. The attire is country western, jeans and Polos, just very casual. Parking can be a bit tricky, but there is a shopping plaza with Target across the street if parking is slim pickings. Volleyball court, dance floor, friendly staff. I let the man just yell at me and still remained nice and calm. 241 reviews of Charlies - Phoenix 'Its like your neighborhood bar only Country and bigger. Really sad to speak the truth about what happen. Why am I ever going to return there only to pray to be on his good side? There are many better LGBTQIA bars in Vegas east and downtown that are unlike the racist ones around the Charlies area. He's a good looking white guy, wears a black cowboy hat over his short brown/blonde hair, blue eyes, no fillersike the nice cute white guy with fillers, the mean one is pale white natural no fillers, And is very moody and discouraging. He comes off like he's been there forever and probably will.

This brings me to tears even talking about it because LITERALLY THE REST OF THE STAFF IS AMAZING!! He's not. I'm a nice guy and I was so happy to buy drinks that day after working all dvay to make the moey for my bar budget of the night. I didn't do anything wrong, he just overreacted and blew up in front of me and everyone. One male bartender/doorman there came off very racist and threatening to me with his tone. Unfortunately this is where my fondest good memories of this delightful establishment ends. Gret bartenders, dancers, drags, drinks - the whole package. Hopefully.OMG I used to love this place and been here for years. It's also famous for its after-hours weekend dance parties, which the staff promises will return post-COVID. are some of its most popular activities, but the bar has also hosted crawfish boils, chili cook-offs, and political fundraisers. Drag performances, bingo games, Latin and country dance nights, and karaoke hosted by Claudia B. Charlie’s events calendar is just as diverse. Today, the place boasts a larger dance floor, an even bigger parking lot, a taco truck out front, an outdoor patio with two bars and bleacher seating in the back, and a wide cross-section of the entire LGBT community. As times and interests changed (and competition increased) so did Charlie’s. In those days, the “lil bitty ol’ pissant country place” and dance hall opened by John King (co-founder of the International Gay Rodeo Association) was aimed at gay urban cowboys and country music fans. Charlies Phoenix is a friendly and popular central Phoenix country-inflected gay nightclub thats known for its hot dance floor, fun karaoke nights.
